Isaiah 41NIV (1984)Relevance of the Passage: This week's bible passage is from Isaiah 41, which was partially read (verse 8-13) during Mr. Jacob's prayer meeting. Let us never forget to praise God for His promise that He is always with us and we have nothing to fear. Isaiah 41: 1-20
The Helper of Israel
1
"Be silent before me, you islands! 2
"Who has stirred up one from the east, 3
He pursues them and moves on unscathed, 4
Who has done this and carried it through, 5
The islands have seen it and fear; 6
each helps the other 7
The craftsman encourages the goldsmith, 8
"But you, O Israel, my servant, 9
I took you from the ends of the earth, 10
So do not fear, for I am with you; 11
"All who rage against you 12
Though you search for your enemies, 13

I will make rivers flow on barren heights, 19
I will put in the desert 20
so that people may see and know,
